About This Trail

Transformation, Not Tourism

This is not a tour. It is an unhurried journey into the heart of Kerala's living craft traditions, from the indigenous forests of Athirapally to the world-class weaving floors of Cherthala.

Curated personally by Preetha Mathews in partnership with Forest Post, the trail is designed for those drawn to the stories behind what is made, who makes it, and how ancient knowledge finds its way into the world.

Traditional weaving experience in Kerala.
