About This Trail

The Living Kitchen of Kerala

This is not a food tour. It is an unhurried journey into Kerala's living culinary traditions, from forest kitchens in Athirapally to the legendary restaurants of Fort Kochi and the Mappila table of North Malabar.

Curated personally by Preetha Mathews in partnership with Forest Post, the trail is for travellers who believe the truest way to understand a place is through what it grows, what it cooks, and who it feeds.
